Using Stories In an elementary setting

Using stories at an elementary level is beneficial both for teachers and students. It is an excellent way to capture the student's attention and to trigger their curiosity. With stories, teachers can help develop student's creative thinking. In an ESL classroom, is a great way to increase the student's vocabulary knowledge. Here is an example of a story and an activity designed for grade 3 ESL learners.
